At Wollaston we play tennis all year round, not just in the summer.

Our state-of-the-art court surfaces provide a consistent bounce even after it has been raining.

They are also a safe surface to run on without the risk of slipping - even on very cold days, which is an advantage over hard courts.

​

The weather in winter is often very good for tennis with bright sunny days, though we have even been known to play when it's snowing - which is a strange but enjoyable experience!

 

We have special festive mix-in sessions on Boxing Day and New Year's Day, as well as our normal tennis sessions that carry on throughout the winter.

​

Our high spec floodlighting also means we can play at night with superb visibility up to 11pm.

​

Our clubhouse is warm and centrally heated and it's a great place to sit with a hot drink and enjoy a chat after a game.

We also have a licensed bar which is run by volunteers and is occasionally open during or after tennis sessions.

​

We also have a Valentine's Day adult competition in mid-February and have teams who play against other clubs in Winter leagues.
